home networking
-
I've had a few problems with this. Did you know that Windows XP Home doesn't
network correctly without Service Pack 2? Strange. Also, the home version
of XP doesn't allow more than 4 computers to be on the network.
It takes a long time to download Service Pack 2, especially on dial up
internet service.

a few Dreamweaver tips
-
Dreamweaver MX 2004 is useful. However, there are a few things that you
should know about it.
Flash Text cannot be modified within a library object.
Find and Replace does not replace all versions of the find term, only the
ones exactly like it (in terms of capitals) whether Match Case is used
or not.
You must set Dreamweaver MX 2004 to use XHTML and stylesheets if you wish
to use them. This can be done through the Preferences menus (Edit-Preferences).

keeping your computer clean

You can replace 4 egg whites with...
oh. Wrong page. Anyway, you should
run virus scan once every week or two (at least), as well as a spyware/adware
removal tool. If you don't have both of those, visit my Free
Items page! Don't forget to update those on a regular basis (once
a month at least).
